Here are just a few of our many birds. They are all a joy to behold and enjoy. Thank you God for allowing us to be a part of their lives.

Meet Jerry.

Jerry is a 10 year old umbrella cockatoo

Jerry came to us becasue his owner could not take his attacking him every time he was out of the cage. Jerry was diagnosed as being bipolar by our vet and is doing great. I have learned that some days he is fine and others he will attack. On the days he is not in attack mode he gets out and plays like any other bird. I have found out that I have to wear a hat or he will not have anything to do with me.

Hi I am Too Too.

Too Too is a 4 year old Blue & Gold Macaw

I came to this new home because my previous person use to beat me and throw things at my cage. In retaliation I would bite them evey chance I got. I am here now and I love it. My new person and I have bonded and every day he gets me out for a long time and I can sit on his shoulder and preen his feathers (I think you humans call it hair).

This is George

George is a Mollucan Cockatoo of unknown age

George doesnt talk or do much. You see George was a bird that was caught in the wild and brought to this country for breeding purposes. He has been in this country for 38 years but we do not know how old he really is. He was brought in before the current restrictions on importing birds. He was sent to us because he would not breed any more. All he would do is attack and on one occasion killed the female in his cage. He has been with us for some time and is now letting one of the people here touch the back of his head and allowing them to actually pet him. We let him out of his cage and he flies to "his" perch on our bird tree. He is absolutely beatifull to watch in flight.

Hello there. I am the queen of the Flock

My name is Kenya

Kenya is a 2 year old African Grey

Kenya was brouht here becasue her mother over groomed her at a very young age and actually took off all her toes but one. She had no value to the Pet shop where she came from because "No one would buy a bird with no toes" Their intention was to put her to sleep. She is doing fine and is living life like any other African Grey

I am Dusty

Dusty is a 2 year old umbrella cockatoo

Dusty was the first offspring to a young cockatoo and she sat on him too tight and broke one of his legs. By the time it was seen it had already healed wrong. The breeder had taken him to the vet to be destroyed. We took him at 16 days old and raised him. He gets along fine and doesnt even know he has a problem. He is just a wonderfull bird.
